Tutorials
Instructables - the ultimate how-to site. If you can dream it, they can teach you how to do it.
BurdaStyle - Free (and inexpensive) sewing patterns & tutorials! There are less free patterns than there
used to be, regrettably, but it's a great community and there are still many free projects.
ThreadBanger - some pretty awesome video sewing tutorials, that keep in mind that a lot of people are
on a budget. One of my favorites is the mad hatter costume tutorial. They do a lot of upcycled
fashion as well.
GiannyL - very easy fashion DIY, that nonetheless looks great! The video tutorials here are done so that
you can understand them no matter what language you speak, and the site itself has both an
English and a Spanish version.

great seeing what everyone else made, too!

Etsy - If you haven't already discovered this site, it's about time you did. The place to sell and buy
handmade and vintage goods, as well as craft supplies. There's also a wonderful community of
crafters here.

Naulaq - Hand-carved pendants and sculpture. Truly beautiful work... (also, I designed the site and took
most of the product photos.)

know what a lolcat is, please remedy this situation immediately by clicking on the above link.

can get whiney, you'll like this anyway. Some are funny, some are poignant. They're all one
sentence long.
DeviantArt - A major online hub for artists. There are some truly talented artists with their portfolios on
this site, and it's a great and easy way to show off, and even sell, your own work.
OneManga - Free mangas online. Besides copyright infringement, what's not to love?
LOLCats - This year, I was shocked to meet people who had no idea what a lolcat was. If you do not
know what a lolcat is, please remedy this situation immediately by clicking on the above link.
