About The Cat
Besides being my personal website, Laughing Cat is my offering to the online crafting community that has given me so much. The site has (or will soon have) tutorials, featured Etsians, creative challenges, a large collection of links to other crafting sites and awesome tutorials, and much more.
The logo itself is just something I came up with on accident several years ago. I really like it, though - and I'll be making tutorials on how to make a Laughing Cat beanie and plushie. ^_^
I started out coding everything myself, which took forever and made things difficult to update frequently. Now I'm using a program called WYSIWYG Web Builder, which makes everything a lot simpler. It does have some weird quirks and limitations - you can't put images in a table, for example - but it makes a lot of other things a breeze. It's probably the best you could find for its price.
The palette for this site is one I found on COLOURLOVERS, which is a truly awesome site and a wonderful resource. I also have to thank the many huge databases of free fonts, and the artists who make those fonts available.
